Diverse mixed-use development in Victoria
QV Sensis was serviced by a large number of consultants including seven different architects employed by our client, Grocon, to create the diverse architecture. This mixed-use development was delivered on a fast-track program by a dedicated team of ten (engineers and drafters) and two project directors.
The Queen Victoria Redevelopment is the most diverse mixed-use development in the country, encompassing an entire city block. QV Sensis consists of two commercial office buildings, two residential towers, approximately 1,500 car park spaces, and a 4-level podium of retail stores that extend around all four street frontages.
The construction area was approximately 294,000 sqm and comprised of up to 4 levels of basements, 4-storeys of retail and 6 towers, ranging in height from 10 to 45-storeys.
