Various design works for Sydney Airport
Experience of our senior staff at Sydney Airport includes:
Terminal T1 Ground Access Upgrade: $60 million major access bridges and flyovers to improve road access to international terminal departures. Project involved major replanning of roads and relocation of existing utilities.
Terminal T1 A380 Upgrade: Structural and civil works for upgrades to Pier C to accommodate Code F aircraft. The project involved design of airside and landside structures including new aerobridges, fixed link structures and expansion of lounges.
Terminal T1 Fire study: Detailed investigations and analysis of existing terminal building to determine fire resistance levels.
Terminal T1 Bay 8: Structural design of the 30 metre long double level long link and node to upgrade bay to accommodate Code F aircraft. This included coordinating in ground foundations with existing in ground services including JUHI fuel lines.
Terminal T1 – Lounge Expansion Bays 8-10: Planning and design for the extension of departures lounge over a live baggage handling area including full point cloud survey allowing coordination of new structure with baggage handling systems.
T1 Departure Hall Upgrades: Structural works associated with expansion of baggage carousels, check in desks and new security screening facilities.
Terminal T1 Qantas First Class Lounge: Detailed design and engineering of raking curtain wall glazed facade.
Terminal T2 Extensions to Pier A: Structural and facade engineering services for the 3-level expansion of the existing domestic terminal including 5 new gates and bus bay facilities for Virgin.
Terminal T2 Virgin Lounge Upgrade: Structural design of alterations to existing building structure and design of bespoke ceiling and glass partitions.
