Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC)

Located on a 130,000 sqm site in Melbourne, Victoria

The University of Melbourne, led by the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, has joined with six other partners in the development of the new Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) on the site of the former Royal Dental Hospital in Parkville.

The facility will bring together world class teachers and researchers with community organisations and industry partners to drive the next generation of progress in the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.

The 13-level Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre facilitates specialist cancer research, education and patient care, where it combines the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, research and clinical facilities for Melbourne Health, and research and education facilities for the University of Melbourne.
